Join us at The Secret Comedy Club during Brighton Fringe 2025
for our exclusive "Best of the Fest" showcase! Nestled in the heart
of The Lanes at Artista, our award-winning venue—voted Best Fringe
Venue 3 years in a row—brings you the finest comedy talent from
across the festival.
Throughout the week and early on weekends, we’re hosting short,
high-energy sessions featuring 3 to 4 comedians in a compact
one-hour format. These bite-sized shows are the perfect way to
sample a variety of acts, helping you decide which full-hour
performances to see next.
For those looking for a full comedy experience, our 8 PM weekend
shows run for approximately two hours, featuring comedians in the
same format that has made our club a year-round favorite. Whether
you're a Fringe regular or a first-time visitor, this is the place
to discover your next favorite act!
All our shows have at least one break in them. 2 hour shows have
two breaks.

The Secret Comedy Club
Friendly and intimate comedy club at the gorgeous Artista Cafe & Gallery. We book top tier headliners from stage and TV such as Zoe Lyons (Mock The Week), Phil Kay (QI, Jonathan Ross, Viva Cabaret, Reeves & Mortimer, Russell Howard's Good News), Fin Taylor (BBC/Comedy Central), Colin Hoult (Derek/Life's Too Short) and the list goes on... Plus support from the best up and coming names on the UK comedy circuit. "The best small comedy club in Brighton & Hove" and the only regular comedy Saturday night in an independent venue. Run at Artista Cafe & Gallery: Gigs, Performances & Event Venue for Hire Brighton & Hove's top provider of comedy, music and performance art. You will be up close and personal (it IS cosy!) with funny folks from London and south coast at the most welcoming and friendly funny venue in Hove (actually). Remember, spaces are limited and we fill up quickly, so get here early and have a drink served up with panache by Alex, chat with old and new friends and hang out in this very cool new art space/comedy club!
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
